Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Network Engineer II to design, implement, maintain, and support its network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security. The role involves LANs, Unified Communications, and VoIP systems, with responsibility for IP routing, security, and documentation in a dynamic IT environment.

The position requires strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SIP-based VoIP, with experience in firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VoIP protocols knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements LANs and Unified Communications environments.
• -Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless systems, servers, and VoIP.
• -Monitors and maintains network performance, plans upgrades, and ensures security.
• -Develops documentation and diagrams for network configurations.
• -Ensures QoS for voice/video and disaster recovery planning.
• -Collaborates with IT/security teams and supports on-call troubleshooting.
