Job summary

First National Bank is seeking a Network Engineer 2 in the Technology business unit to provide advanced network support across the corporation. You will work with technology partners and lines of business to shape infrastructure plans, advise on network functionality, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

The role requires strong routing and switching knowledge, experience with IP schemes, and the ability to lead complex projects.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• 5 years of related technology/network experience preferred.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications preferred or management approved equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Directs resolution activities of junior staff and sets priorities for technology networking projects.
• Troubleshoots network and application issues; investigates security concerns and patching vulnerabilities.
• Maintains network diagrams and procedures; liaises with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Leads complex initiatives in LAN/WAN, routing, switching, IP schemes, load balancers, VoIP, wireless, and firewalls.
