Job summary

FHLBank Topeka is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain networks across office, data centers, and cloud environments. You will configure routers, switches, and servers, monitor performance, and ensure security in collaboration with IT security teams.

The role requires a college degree and 5+ years in networking, with Cisco ACI and cloud experience highly valued. This is a hybrid role in the Topeka area with generous benefits and relocation support if applicable.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a college degree.
• Cisco certifications highly regarded.
• Five or more years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms and IaC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design network architectures (LANs/WANs/VPNs).
• Configure and install routers, switches, servers, and related software.
• Monitor performance and ensure uptime; proactively address issues.
• Collaborate on security with IT security; maintain baseline configurations.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation; support system administration tasks.
