Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Technical Specialist 2 - Network to design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure. You will monitor performance, update configurations, and work with IT teams to ensure reliable networking support for mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities include field surveys, reporting measurements to senior staff, and assisting in design and testing procedures. Occasional travel and flexible hours are required as part of client engagements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years in installation, troubleshooting or testing of electronic security systems.
• Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience acceptable as alternative.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Survey field conditions and coordinate with client design engineering for communication systems.
• Report measurements to senior staff in actionable form and meet project deadlines.
• Assist in designing and maintaining network layouts and components.
• Perform system monitoring, tuning, and basic troubleshooting of network operations.
