Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Tech Specialist 2 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The role emphasizes field surveys, design collaboration, and documentation to support secure, high-availability networks. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, updating configurations, and supporting senior engineers in design and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and testing electronic security systems or related infrastructure.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure stability and performance.
• Monitor network performance and coordinate with IT teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in design and testing procedures, including documentation and reports for management.
