Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Technical Specialist 2 (Telecommunications) to design, coordinate, and manage telecommunications systems for complex facilities.

You will produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, coordinate with clients, trades, and vendors, and support bid efforts and testing for low voltage infrastructure. The role requires experience with telecom systems, field coordination, and knowledge of NFPA and ANSI/TIA standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 6+ years telecom experience or HS diploma with 8+ years.
• Basic understanding of EIA/TIA standards and NFPA Codes.
• Working knowledge of passive cabling systems and components.
• Working knowledge of active comms systems (PAS, SMS, DAS, WLAN).
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telecom infrastructure design and documentation for projects.
• Interface with client and project teams to meet goals and mitigate risk.
• Develop and coordinate low voltage system designs with other trades.
