Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Technical Specialist 2 in Telecommunications to design, coordinate, and document telecom infrastructure for large-scale projects.

You will work with clients, contractors, and trades to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance, while maintaining schedules and quality control. The role requires hands-on experience with low voltage systems, field coordination, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Familiar with NFPA/ANSI/TIA standards
• Experience with low voltage systems design and field coordination
• Capable of developing and maintaining design documentation (RFI, CCM, TRL, DDL)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting SOWs, drawings and specs

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telecom design with client, general contractor and trades
• Assist in design and coordination of low voltage systems (PAS, DAS, etc.)
• Produce construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Review test results and ensure compliance with project specs
• Support project bids with takeoffs and time estimates
• Perform site surveys and coordinate documentation
