The Network Engineer configures, deploys, tests, maintains,monitors and troubleshoots the enterprise network components toprovide a secure, high performance network. Supports the stableoperation of the in-house computer network (LAN/WANinfrastructure). This includes planning, designing, installing,configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all network hardware,software, and communication links while ensuring minimal networkdowntime. The person will also diagnose, resolve, and documenthardware and software network problems for local, off-site and/orremote locations in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide enduser training and support where required. This position is a memberof a 24/7/365 global department.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably todo the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending;carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; ordriving an automobile. No special physical demands are required toperform the work.
Hiring salary range is: $80,523 - $92,601
Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all postedfull-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fallin that range is determined by your related experience andeducation.
