Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure spanning on-premises, data center, perimeter and cloud environments. You will troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and security configurations across AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI, and partner with cross-disciplinary teams to drive modernization efforts.

• Experience in enterprise networking, troubleshooting across multiple domains.
• Proficiency in routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, Cisco ACI and Arista networking.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPN, NAT, segmentation, and cloud-to-on-premises connectivity.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, support, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN, data center, perimeter and cloud networks.
• Support complex routing and switching with BGP/OSPF.
• Assist data center networking including Cisco ACI and Arista.
• Manage firewalls, VPN, NAT, segmentation and perimeter connectivity.
• Support load balancing and application connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintain connectivity across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI environments.
• Troubleshoot across on-prem, perimeter, cloud, security and application contexts.
• Participate in migrations, modernization, lifecycle management, and consolidation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Network, Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation, standards, automation and knowledge sharing.

Network Engineer

Location: Eagan, Minnesota

Role Overview

This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse enterprise network environment spanning on-premises, perimeter, and public cloud infrastructure. The position requires strong networking fundamentals, hands‑on troubleshooting skills, and experience working across multiple network technologies. The ideal professional is technically competent, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a team environment where knowledge sharing and collective ownership are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, support, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, data center, perimeter, and cloud network infrastructure.
• Support complex routing and switching environments, including BGP and OSPF.
• Support data center networking technologies including Cisco ACI and Arista.
• Support firewalls, VPN, NAT, network segmentation, and perimeter connectivity.
• Support load‑balancing technologies and troubleshoot application connectivity.
• Support network connectivity across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues spanning on‑premises, perimeter, cloud, security, and application environments.
• Participate in network migrations, modernization, lifecycle management, and technology‑consolidation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Network, Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation, operational standards, automation, and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Demonstration of a strong background in enterprise networking, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving across multiple domains.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, Cisco ACI, Cisco data center networking, Arista, firewalls, VPN, NAT, network segmentation, load balancing, and hybrid cloud‑to‑on‑premises connectivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Python, Ansible, Git, GitHub, and APIs.
• Familiarity with network automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and work across different platforms.
