Job summary

Everforth Apex invites an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join our engineering leadership team in designing the strategic cloud and hybrid platform. You will set global reliability, scalability, and security standards while guiding DevOps, cloud, and containerization initiatives to align with growth.

Responsibilities include multi-region AWS infrastructure, enterprise CI/CD roadmaps, IaC with Terraform, and governance across distributed systems with strong focus on DR and security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure engineering and enterprise architecture experience.
• Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong proficiency with MySQL and Mongo databases, including MySQL replication.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with Prometheus or ELK for monitoring/logging.
• Linux systems administration and network security knowledge.

Infrastructure Architect

Location

Role Overview

We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect to join an Engineering leadership team. This role is responsible for defining the overarching architectural vision, enterprise strategy, and long-term technical roadmap for the platform across cloud and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will establish global reliability, scalability, and security standards, guide high-level infrastructure design, and steer DevOps, cloud, and containerization strategies to align infrastructure investments with company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, establish, and evolve multi-region cloud infrastructure using AWS.
• Define long-term technical roadmaps and architectural standards for enterprise CI/CD workflows and deployment frameworks.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code strategy and standardization across teams using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Oversee enterprise containerization strategies, platform orchestration, and cloud-native architecture governance.
• Set system-wide reliability, availability, and performance SLAs/SLOs across production systems.
• Establish enterprise security architecture, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies in conjunction with the Security team.
• Design high-availability database architectures and failover strategies across distributed systems such as MySQL, Mongo, and Redis.
• Partner with executive leadership and engineering teams to align architectural vision with business goals.
• Lead technical governance, architecture review boards, and disaster recovery strategy.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and enterprise architecture.
• Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong proficiency with database technologies like MySQL and Mongo, with required experience in MySQL replication.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with system monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks like Prometheus or ELK.
• Strong background in Linux systems administration and network security.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in AWS or GCP cloud architecture and service management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Payroll or HRIS experience is a plus.
• Nomad experience is a plus.
