Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Production Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable networks across backbone, data center, and AI workloads. You will own automation, CI/CD tooling, and validation frameworks to keep networks reliable at scale.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and sourcing teams to deploy production-ready networking solutions while continuously improving operational efficiency and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience developing scalable and reliable systems or networks.
• Experience coding in higher-level languages (Python, C++, Go, Rust) and learning new software/tools.
• Experience in configuring and maintaining network devices, NMS systems, or related infrastructure.
• Experience with at least one vendor (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Brocade).

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement global best practices and scalable network solutions.
• Develop automation and tools for product introductions, deployment, and operations.
• Design solutions that scale across various network hardware platforms.
• Lead automation improvements across backbone, data center, and edge networks.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and sourcing teams on new networking solutions.
• Investigate complex network issues and drive incident resolution.
• Improve operational efficiency with automated workflows and processes.
• Drive cross-team coordination to remove roadblocks and deliver projects on timelines.
• Participate in on-call rotations to handle production challenges and learn.
