Job summary

Meta seeks a Network Production Engineer to design, build, and operate a massive global backbone spanning data centers, AI networks, and edge deployments. You will develop scalable automation, contribute to network software, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

This hybrid role emphasizes code and network engineering, on-call experience, and continuous improvement of deployment pipelines, monitoring, and analytics to support billions of users.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in developing scalable and reliable systems and/or networks.
• Experience in configuration and maintenance of network devices and NMS systems.
• Experience developing and understanding network device configuration for at least one vendor (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Brocade).

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement global best practices and design new scalable network solutions.
• Conceptualize, build, and maintain automation and tools to support new product introductions, network deployment, release engineering, and operations.
• Lead enhancements of automation for continuous integration, validations, testing infrastructure, release, and configuration management across our global backbone, data center, and edge networks.
• Work closely with hardware, software, and sourcing teams to develop new networking solutions and influence the future of networking.
