Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to support AWS infrastructure operations.

The role involves scaling data center network support, capacity management, and collaboration with internal customers and vendors to execute projects under Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers. You will leverage experience in large-scale enterprise networks, network implementation and troubleshooting, and help establish best practices and scalable procedures across AWS data

Qualifications

• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• 1+ year of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
