Job summary

Extron is seeking a Network Application Engineer to support high-performance Audio/Video streaming networks. You will assist with pre- and post-sales support, validate emerging network technologies, and advise on product applications and system designs for Extron’s streaming and control solutions.

Responsibilities include collaborating with sales, engineering, and customers, reviewing requirements, and producing technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on networking experience with network equipment.
• Solid understanding of L2/L3 networks and routing protocols.
• CCNA or Network+ certification preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for general network and network-enabled Extron product support.
• Review system requirements for accuracy, completeness and feasibility.
• Participate in design and implementation activities ensuring performance and standards.
• Collaborate across teams to test, troubleshoot, and document solutions.
• Work with multiple network vendors to meet customer requirements.
• Create technical documentation for assigned tasks.
