Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Network Administrator for a growing logistics company based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and reliability across the business.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, managing IP/DNS, plan upgrades, and documenting configurations. A Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of experience, with Cisco/Juniper exposure, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of network administration experience.
• Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper network devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement and manage network security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Regularly update and patch network systems; manage IP addressing and DNS.
