Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to handle order entry, email management, and proactive customer communication in a hybrid role across Itasca and Glendale Heights offices with remote Fridays. The position emphasizes fast-paced email support for domestic and international customers and offers growth toward sole ownership of the Sandream business.

Ideal candidates have 2-3+ years in order entry or customer account management in manufacturing or distribution, and

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred but not required). Proficiency in MS Office.
• 2-3+ years of recent order entry or customer account management within manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with shared inbox management.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility, especially during the holiday season.
• Associate Degree preferred, but minimum HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders into NetSuite ERP system.
• Manage shared email inboxes efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries.
• Support account needs and fulfill orders as promised.
• Learn processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Take ownership of customer relationships and order management.
