Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to support the accounting operations of a well-established organization. This position will focus primarily on accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing, payment preparation, account reconciliations, and vendor maintenance within Oracle NetSuite.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with NetSuite, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of AP/AR processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience using Oracle NetSuite.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices, including PO and non-PO invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Support weekly payment runs by verifying invoice approvals and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9 forms, ACH information, banking details, and vendor setup within NetSuite.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, review aging reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Process credit card transactions and assist with expense reporting.
• Assist with customer payment postings, cash applications, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare AP/AR aging reports and transaction summaries.
• Assist with month-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and overall efficiency.
• Support additional accounting projects and responsibilities as assigned.
