Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on high voltage power systems. You will conduct protective relay tests, power quality analyses, and diagnostic testing across multiple sites, while mentoring junior technicians.

The role requires current NETA III/IV certification, 7+ years of hands-on testing, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualificações

• NETA III/IV Certification required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• Proficiency with protective relay schemes, one-line/three-line diagrams, and P&IDs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV.
• Conduct short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality studies.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor).
• Perform insulation resistance, power factor, and contact resistance testing on transformers and switchgear.
• Analyze results and write comprehensive engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
• Mentor Level I/II technicians and lead multi-discipline project teams.
