Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on high voltage power systems. You will conduct studies such as short circuit and arc flash, test protective relays, and troubleshoot complex failures.

The role requires up to 75% travel, a strong NETA background, and leadership to mentor technicians. Competitive hourly compensation with benefits includes a signing bonus and vehicle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• NETA Level III or IV Certification current and in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NETA MTS/ATS standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV.
• Conduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based).
• Interpret test results and author engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
