Job summary

Renewance is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to oversee the NERC GOP compliance program and RMOC operations. You will lead development, implementation, and ongoing management of compliance, while coordinating with grid operators and internal teams to ensure reliability and regulatory readiness.

You will partner with Product and Engineering to integrate workflows, support audits, and guide a high-performing team in a fast-growing energy storage and renewables environment.

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of experience in power system operations, energy generation, or grid operations.
• Direct experience with NERC compliance, GOP and/or TOP standards.
• Experience in a control room/operations center (24/7).
• Strong understanding of SCADA/EMS, grid operations and dispatch protocols.
• Experience supporting or leading NERC audits and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of a GOP compliance program with audit-ready processes and evidence systems.
• Serve as SME on NERC compliance, partnering with internal teams, customers and regulators.
• Manage RMOC activity to support battery energy storage and grid assets with real-time monitoring.
• Oversee real-time grid operations, coordinating with ISOs/RTOs to dispatch and maintain reliability.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to embed compliance workflows in RenewanceConnect.
• Support LTSA delivery ensuring performance, availability and compliance commitments.
• Build and lead an operations team with training aligned to NERC standards.
