Job summary

ERCOT is seeking an Operations and Planning (O&P) Compliance professional to ensure adherence to NERC standards and ERCOT protocols. The role collaborates with internal teams to identify controls, assess risks, and remediate audit findings, serving as the liaison with regulators and auditors.

The candidate will document controls, prepare RSAWs, and use Archer GRC for monitoring design and operation of controls mapped to standards. A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• 2 years related work experience preferred.
• Experience with NERC standards and ERCOT processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify compliance risks and develop effective solutions.
• Monitor and report compliance with requirements using compliant methods and tools.
• Assist process owners to improve processes and compliance posture.
• Prepare documentation for audits and maintain internal control evidence.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts on NERC/ERCOT standards during audits.
