RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr. NERC O&P Compliance Associate to support the Internal Compliance Program and ensure adherence to NERC O&P Standards, ISO/RTO requirements, and related regulatory obligations for power generation and battery systems.

The role requires minimal supervision, complex problem solving, and SME-level knowledge of NERC Standards. You will engage with cross-functional teams, organize regulatory responses, and contribute to policy development while supporting training and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a NERC compliance role, renewable generation and battery systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of NERC Standards, ISO/RTO rules, and compliance processes.
• Applies procedures independently for assigned tasks.
• Represents compliance function in internal project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards, ISO/RTO rules, and related regulatory requirements.
• Conduct compliance research, analysis, and evidence preparation with moderate independence.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory requests, self-certifications, and audits.
• Support internal compliance assessments and investigations into potential non-compliance issues.
• Develop and update policies, processes, and procedures for compliance activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Deliver basic compliance training to operational teams as directed.
• Suggest improvements to documentation and evidence management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
