Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a System Control Operator to manage training programs focused on compliance with NERC standards. Applicants should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and effective communication skills.

The ideal candidate will lead various training initiatives, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, along with current NERC Operator certification.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a NERC Certified System Operator in Transmission, Distribution or Balancing Authority functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other departments, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate TEP’s initial training program for System Control.
• Provide ad-hoc training to System Control and Reliability operating personnel.
• Maintain accurate department training records and provide status reports on trainee progress.

Skills
