Job summary

Biogen, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison for Nephrology in the Southeast region, covering Atlanta, GA and Miami, FL.

This field-based role drives KME engagement, regional account readiness, and external advocacy through collaboration with marketing, medical, and cross-functional partners. The role emphasizes strategic insight generation, compliant external engagement, and support for congress planning and launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Rare Disease and/or nephrology field-based experience required.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to convert insights into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60-70%.

Responsibilities

• Gather insights to inform marketing strategy and commercial content development for current and future disease states.
• Create regional commercial plans to move key accounts through the adoption continuum, partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Gather insights on account practices and stakeholder perspectives and share relevant insights internally.
• Identify opportunities and barriers affecting account adoption, patient access and advocacy development.
• Identify, profile, and engage KMEs within transplant and nephrology communities.
• Serve as the primary liaison for approved KME engagements including advisory boards and speaker programs.
• Translate stakeholder feedback into strategic recommendations for marketing strategy and launch planning.
• Support regional and national congress planning, speaker bureau activities, and post-congress insights.
• Partner with marketing, medical, sales, commercial operations, and legal/compliance to ensure compliant engagement and launch readiness.
