Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an experienced operations executive to oversee day-to-day practice operations across locations with high patient throughput. You will monitor revenue generation, lead operational improvements, and drive strategic initiatives in a multi-site environment.

The role requires strong financial, HR, and systems background, plus experience in a physician practice and proficiency with systems such as Microsoft Office and Epic.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in operations with strong financial, human resources, and systems background.
• Experience in a physician practice setting.
• Demonstrated experience with various systems/software/technology components (e.g., Microsoft, Epic).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day practice operations with staffing, resources, access, patient throughput, reporting and operational issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve access, quality, revenue and expense control.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing support to providers (scheduling, reimbursements, initiatives, staff concerns).
• Forecast and develop operational and capital budgets with regular data interpretation and actionable plans.
• Manage revenue cycle activities including charge capture, code reconciliation, and denials monitoring.
• Ensure backend processes support patient throughput and financial viability.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate KPI progress.
• Oversee expansion projects and relationships with leased physicians and staff.
• Lead and develop team through hiring, training, performance management and growth opportunities.
