Job summary

Great opportunity in Fort Myers, FL to work as a per diem neonatal nurse practitioner with our team of neonatologists and NNPs at Lee Memorial Health System. You will provide 12-hour in-house clinical care in a Level-III NICU serving high-risk deliveries and newborns, with rotations to a Level-I NICU.

Florida-licensed APRN with a master’s degree and recent NICU experience is required. Sign-on bonuses and relocation are often available across locations.

Qualifications

• APRN national certification required.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Florida license to practice as an APRN.
• Recent experience in neonatology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour in-house clinical care in Level-III NICU.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide newborn care.
• Rotate to Cape Coral Hospital Level-I NICU as needed.
• Cover Level-1 delivery service and mother/baby area.
• Night shift coverage preferred when applicable.

• Our state-of-the art facility at Golisano Children's Hospital opened in May 2017 and boasts a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
• The Level-III NICU provides all services except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO
• Providing 12-hour in‑house clinical care in the Level-III NICU (night shift availability preferred)
• Rotations to Cape Coral Hospital, a Level‑I NICU
• Coverage of the Level‑1 delivery service and mother/baby area including normal newborn care
• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• FL license required
