Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a per diem, certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Level-III NICU team at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. You will provide in-house 12-hour coverage and participate in high-risk deliveries alongside neonatologists and other NNPs.

Requirements include a current APRN national specialty certification, a master’s degree, a Florida license, and recent NICU experience.

• Florida license is required and current practice is expected.

• Provide 12-hour in-house clinical care in the Level-III NICU, with night shift availability preferred.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and participate in mother/baby care within NICU and delivery services.
• Rotate to related NICU and hospital units as needed to cover coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and NNPs to coordinate patient care.
• Support ongoing family-centered care and developmental needs of neonates.

Great opportunity for a per diem, certified, experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to work with our team of neonatologists and NNPs providing care at Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, Florida.

Responsibilities

• The Lee Memorial Health System handles about 7,000 deliveries per year
• Our state-of-the art facility at Golisano Children's Hospital opened in May 2017 and boasts a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
• The Level-III NICU provides allservices except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO
• Providing 12-hour in-house clinical care in the Level-III NICU (night shift availability preferred)
• Attendance at high-risk deliveries
• Rotations to Cape Coral Hospital, a Level-I NICU
• Coverage of the Level-1 delivery service and mother/baby area including normal newborn care

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• FL license required
• Recent experience required
