Position Overview

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to work at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Southwest Florida. The role offers high‑acuity neonatal care in a Level III NICU and occasional Level I coverage.

Responsibilities

• Attend coverage in the Level III NICU.
• Provide occasional Level I coverage including well‑baby care with home backup coverage.
• Support care for the full range of subspecialty services (excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO).
• Cover high‑risk delivery service.

Schedule & Team

• 12‑hour shifts with an option for 24‑hour shifts based on prior experience.
• Work with a supportive team of 10 neonatologists and 10 neonatal nurse practitioners.
• Participate in a culture that emphasizes developmentally sensitive, family‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• Experience or interest in Level III NICU; exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply. Tuition assistance is available.
