Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware invites a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Level IV NICU. The expanding unit will add 46 beds, with rotating shifts including holidays, and a focus on high-quality neonatal care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Neonatal NP/PA experience preferred.
• Current unrestricted ARNP/PA license in relevant state(s).
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification via NCCP (or equivalent).
• BLS and NRP Certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages neonatal ICU patients under neonatology supervision.
• Receives distressed neonates from delivery and initiates intervention.
• Performs newborn examinations and gestational age assessment.
• Conducts family interviews and documents history.
• Collaborates with neonatologists on diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
• Orders laboratory tests and procedures as needed.
• Participates in NICU rounds and ongoing care.
