Job summary

Kaiser Permanente NW is seeking a registered nurse in the NICU to provide bedside care under supervision, using clinical judgment to diagnose and treat health problems and coordinate nursing care with other disciplines.

Requirements include Oregon RN license, BLS, NRP, 9 months RN experience and 18 months NICU in last 5 years; preferred bilingual Spanish-English and bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program required at hire.
• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• Eighteen (18) months NICU experience in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, provide and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Coordinate nurses' care activities with other health care disciplines.
• Document care in the EMR and follow care plans and protocols.
• Perform medication administration accurately and respond to emergencies.
