Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, and to serve as a clinical resource for staff and students. The role offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Expect to design and adjust plans of care based on patient response and evidence, and to educate patients and families throughout rehabilitation. Responsibilities include patient transfers with safe body mechanics, documenting findings, and collaborating with the care

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current state license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Continuing education in acute stroke care as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients; designs and adjusts plan of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers throughout rehabilitation.
• Performs safe patient transfers; ensures proper body mechanics to protect patients and staff.
• Documents findings and outcomes in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Collaborates with the care team and provides supervision as appropriate.
• Supports department goals and adheres to standardized processes.
