The ideal candidate maintains NCC/NRP/NRP certifications and valid state APRN licensure, with BLS, and experience in neonatal ICU or pediatric acute care.

Qualifications

• NCC certification as a Neonatal NP or PCP/ FNP family NP with current APRN status.
• Active RN license in the state of practice or multi-state license via eNLC.
• APR BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Preferred neonatal ICU or pediatric acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal patient care across inpatient settings.
• Conduct rounds, assessments, and develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care plans and educate patients and families.
• Respond to urgent clinical changes and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff for coordinated care.
• Contribute to quality improvement and practice development initiatives.
