Job summary

SMG System Medical Group in Charleston, WV is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional in Pulmonology/ICU to manage comprehensive pulmonary patient care during inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will perform rounds, evaluations, and coordinate tests and discharge planning with pulmonary faculty.

The role requires MSN from a CCNE-accredited program, APRN or PA certification, WV licensure, and BLS with ALS training; pulmonary experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for RN and APRN in West Virginia.
• BLS Certification with ALS training.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive pulmonary patient care during inpatient stay and ambulatory care.
• Conduct daily rounds and evaluations; order tests as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with pulmonary faculty and staff; follow clinical guidelines.
• Provide education to staff, patients and families; document care clearly.
