Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston is seeking an Advanced Practice Manager, Neonatology, to lead the NICU APP team of 18 providers. The role blends clinical practice with operational leadership, staffing, scheduling, and quality initiatives.

You will maintain active clinical duties in the Level II/III NICU, oversee daily operations, mentor staff, manage the department budget, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to advance family-centered, evidence-based neonatal care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant required.
• 8–10 years related work experience required and 1–3 years supervisory/management experience required.
• Current MA license for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
• Experience with computer systems including web based applications and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership for the NICU APP team and oversees day-to-day staffing and scheduling.
• Oversees program operations, quality initiatives, and budget management.
• Maintains active clinical practice in the NICU and mentors APP staff.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and care teams to implement clinical pathways.
• Directs performance reviews, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Contributes to morbidity and mortality rounds and grand rounds conferences.
