Job summary

University of Washington is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Neonatal Intensive Care team. The APP will deliver evidence‑based medical care to high‑risk and well newborns and their families, under the supervision of neonatology faculty.

Qualifications

• Current, valid WA ARNP or PA-C license.
• WA Prescriptive Authority license.
• ARNP: NCC Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification.
• PA: National board certification (ANA or NAPNAP).
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• Three+ years of NICU experience as NNP or PA.
• Active DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care under supervision of attending neonatologist.
• Function independently within scope of practice.
• Ensure continuity of care for neonatal patients and families.
• Bill for services rendered, as appropriate to role.
