Backblaze is seeking a NeoCloud Pursuit Specialist / Account Executive to own a named set of NeoCloud accounts, build pursuit plans, map the buying group from engineers to the CXO, and drive multi-year storage and AI infrastructure deals at scale.

You will collaborate with Sales Engineers, Field CTO, and partners to validate solutions, shape deals, and secure executive sponsorship. You will guide the customer through the pursuit and hand off to Customer Success as the account grows.

Qualifications

• Infrastructure sales expertise, with a record of closing complex, multi-year deals in storage, cloud, compute, networking, or data center infrastructure.
• Technical fluency to lead conversations with infrastructure engineers and architects and to earn their trust.
• Experience building VP/CTO relationships and managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Responsabilités

• Pursue named accounts and build a pursuit plan for each, mapping the buying group from engineers to the CXO.
• Run discovery to understand stack, costs, performance limits, and fit with Backblaze; coordinate with SE and Field CTO on validation.
• Shape the deal with legal on multi-year commitments, SLAs, and revenue share when Backblaze backs a NeoCloud service.
• Sell inside Backblaze by coordinating with Cloud Ops and Engineering; line up executive sponsorship for priority accounts.
• Hand off to Customer Success and stay engaged as accounts go live and expand.
