Job summary

Health Trasport Partners in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team. Dispatchers handle non-emergency call taking, dispatch non-emergency medical transportation, verify insurance, and perform data entry and billing duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates will communicate clearly, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and have computer experience with Windows Word, Excel, CAD and databases to support scheduling, documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months EMT or office experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate strong communication/organizational skills and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally and direct emergencies to PSAP.
• Coordinate dispatch for non-emergency medical transport and schedule pickups.
• Verify insurance and review required documentation for accuracy.
• Enter data into PCR/dispatch software and perform billing support.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and work under high-pressure situations.
• Collaborate with facilities, EMS agencies, hospitals, and community partners.
