Verigent is seeking an experienced NEC Voice Systems Technician to provide day-to-day operational support in an enterprise telecommunications environment. You will troubleshoot, perform MACs, and manage NEC platforms to ensure reliable voice services.

The role requires hands-on experience with NEC SV9500, UM8700, and MA4000 systems and a strong focus on customer service and documentation in a fast‑paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for NEC voice systems and troubleshoot hardware, software, and telephony issues.

• Process Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) for users, extensions, devices, and configurations.
• Administer and support NEC SV9500, UM8700, and MA4000 platforms.
• Diagnose voice, voicemail, and endpoint connectivity issues and resolve them.
• Coordinate with IT and end users to resolve service requests promptly.
• Maintain documentation of changes, incidents, and support activities.
• Follow change management and operational procedures.
• Participate in testing and validation after upgrades or configuration changes.

Summary:

Verigent's client is seeking an experienced NEC Voice Systems Technician to provide day-to-day operational support for an enterprise telecommunications environment. This role will be responsible for performing break/fix support, troubleshooting, and managing Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) across NEC voice platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering and supporting NEC telephony systems in a production environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for NEC voice systems, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and telephony issues.
• Perform break/fix activities to restore voice services and minimize downtime.
• Complete Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) for users, extensions, devices, and system configurations.
• Administer and support NEC SV9500, UM8700, and MA4000 platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve voice, voicemail, and endpoint connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and end users to resolve service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system changes, incidents, and support activities.
• Follow established change management and operational procedures.
• Participate in system testing and validation following configuration changes or upgrades.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of NEC MA4000 management applications.
• Experience performing Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) in enterprise voice environments.
