Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an NDT Trainee to assist the UT Level II Technician with Ultrasonic Testing activities while gaining hands-on experience.

You will help set up and tear down equipment, perform routine maintenance and calibrations, and assist with documentation of services provided.

Working in an in-house plant/shop environment, you will interact with crew, supervisors and clients, while following safety rules and company policies.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required due to contractual obligations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications preferred.
• Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
• Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist UT Level II testing activities by setting up and tearing down equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibrations, and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Assist with documentation and reports on services provided.
• Learn and follow company policies and procedures.
