Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.
• Must communicate with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
• Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
• 40 hour Radiation Safety Course certificate required; IRRSP/State card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
• Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
• Operate radiographic equipment under supervision when designated as Assistant Radiographer or Radiographer Trainee.
• Maintain surveillance of radiographic equipment and prevent unauthorized access.
