Job summary

MISTRAS in the United States is seeking an NDT Trainee to assist Level II and Level III Technicians with designated NDT methods while gaining practical experience. You will support NDT operations, documentation, production processes, safety, and day-to-day activities under supervision.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, maintenance, documentation, and following process instructions. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and learning within a structured environment.

Qualifications

  • Self-starter with strong motivation and work ethic.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short-notice work.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures.
  • Ability to adapt to schedule changes including overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Level II and Level III Technicians with equipment setup as directed and required.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
  • Complete assigned processes in a timely manner to meet schedules and customer needs.
  • Learn and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Review work order instructions to ensure processing adheres to specifications.
  • Monitor NDT inventory and submit requisitions for ordering.
  • Comply with quality system requirements and controlled documents.
  • Participate in safety, process, and quality training as directed.
