Job summary

MISTRAS is seeking an NDT trainee in Cudahy, CA to assist Level II/III technicians with designated NDT method activities while gaining hands-on experience.

You will help with setup, maintenance, documentation, and reports; learn safety and quality procedures, review work orders, and support inventory and packing tasks as needed.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma and a proactive, reliable work ethic, with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice.
• Communicate and work well with supervisors and co-workers.
• Follow precise directions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II/III with set-up as directed and required.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist with documentation and reports of services provided.
• Complete assigned process to meet schedule and customer needs.
• Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
• Review work orders to ensure processing meets specifications.
• Monitor NDT inventory and submit requisitions to team lead.
• Ensure quality system requirements are followed.
