Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Level II NDE Technician to perform field and shop inspections using UT, RT, MT or PT methods, in accordance with applicable codes and company procedures.

You will set up equipment, conduct tests, interpret results, and supervise Level I personnel while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. This role may involve travel and outdoor work, with emphasis on reliability and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for UT/RT/MT/PT.
• NDE Level II certification or Level I with adequate field hours to certify to Level II for UT/RT/MT/PT.
• Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred (required for Radiographers).
• Completion of Radiation Safety Course preferred (required for Radiographers).
• Ability to solve problems and analyze information; strong communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT techniques.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Supervise Level I personnel and trainees when applicable.
• Maintain familiarity with codes and contractual documents governing the method.
• Work with minimal supervision and travel as needed.
