Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an NDT Technician to perform in-process and final inspections on machine parts, assemblies, and coated components. The role uses predetermined methods with guidance and upholds safety standards during testing and documentation.

You will read blueprints, operate measuring devices, interpret radiographs or digital readouts, and report findings. The job requires 1–2 years of aircraft shop experience and ASNT Level 2 NDT certification, with on-site duties in

Qualifications

• ASNT Level 2 NDT certification.
• GD&T knowledge per ASME 14.5.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and performing basic math.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Adhere to safety regulations and testing criteria.
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs or digital readouts and report results.
• Organize and report test results and supervise others as needed.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
