Precision Castparts in Los Angeles, CA seeks an NDT Technician to perform in-process and final inspections of machine parts, assemblies, and coated components. The role follows predetermined methods and specs, and may be 1st or 2nd shift based on availability.

You will work with calibrated equipment to detect defects and verify compliance with customer specifications. Responsibilities include setup and calibration of NDT equipment, executing tests, interpreting radiographs and readouts,

Qualifications

• ASNT Level 2 NDT certification
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME 14.5
• Experience with standard inspection measuring equipment
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Syteline
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math

Responsabilités

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs, digital readouts and indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections and assist others as needed
• Adhere to safety regulations and quality procedures

ASNT Level 2 NDT Penetrant Technician

GD&T per ASME 14.5

Inspection measuring equipment knowhow

Basic PC skills (MS Office)
