Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking an NDT Technician to perform quality inspections using X-Ray, Penetrant and Magnetic Particle methods on aerospace-grade hardware.

The role requires interpreting specifications, certifying conformance, and maintaining traceability to certifications. The successful candidate will inspect, process, and evaluate surface and subsurface discontinuities, operate related equipment, and collaborate with engineers to address scrap and rework issues while

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret English specifications.
• Able to read blueprints and specifications.
• Must pass PCC NDT certifications.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Certifies product in conformance with customer specs and maintains traceability.
• Performs penetrant, X-ray, and magnetic particle inspections and interprets results.
• Performs preventative maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment.
• Operates vapor degreaser and conducts process checks.
• Maintains lot integrity and proper paperwork.
