Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites. This role is an important first step toward a career in asset integrity and inspection.

You will help set up inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT), prepare materials, and assist with safety practices. TEAM offers benefits, 401k, paid time off, and opportunities for growth into leadership roles. Occasional travel and extended shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in various environments typically found in Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and other type settings.
• Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
• Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.) in accordance with TEAM and client procedures.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and help secure work areas for radiographic testing (where applicable).
• Transport equipment to and from job sites, maintaining safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure all tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow all safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
