Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. seeks an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing across client sites.

You will help set up inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT) and assist with materials, tools, and equipment, contributing to safety and operational excellence. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are willing to travel, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and obtain TWIC/DSA access credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in varied environments (oil & gas, nuclear, power, aerospace).
• Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights/ confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.).
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure radiographic testing areas where applicable.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites with safe handling and inventory control.
• Ensure tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed.
• Follow safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup.
