Job summary

Acuren is recruiting for temporary NDT/RT Assistants for our Duluth, MN location. You will support calibration, nondestructive testing, and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection according to instructions while documenting results.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting Radiographers with calibration, and recording inspection outcomes. The role requires a High School diploma and a technical background, with background checks and a valid driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college coursework preferred for this role.
• Technical background is desirable for NDT support.
• Must be able to pass background checks and related regulatory requirements.
• Motor vehicle driving record must meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations.
• Set up and utilize NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment and conducting tests to detect defects.
• Record results of inspections.
• Carry equipment and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
