Job summary

Acuren is seeking RT Assistants to support operations in Rincon, GA. This on-site role involves calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and recorded results.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, assisting radiographers in calibration, and performing inspections to detect defects. Must have 40-hour Radiation Safety, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass client background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Class is required.
• Must pass drug/alcohol and background screens per client requirements.
• Credibility to comply with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and carry equipment.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
